Q: Where are you located? What are your hours?

A: We are located at 703 2nd Street, on the corner of 2nd and F St in downtown Davis, CA 95616

Open 6 days a week. Monday-Saturday 10-5

Q: What size bike do I need?

A: We are more than happy to help you determine the best bike size for you, but please come in to see us. Due to variations among types of bikes and manufacturers, as well as the amazing diversity of the human body, there isn't a formula that magically takes your height or inseam and turns out the perfect bike size.  We have a large variety of sizes and styles in stock, so we usually have several good options to show you, and you can test ride any bikes that you are interested in.

Q: How long does it take for a tune-up or other bike repair?

A: We can usually complete a tune-up on your bicycle in 2-4 weekdays. Quick fixes like flat tire repairs, can be done same day. We can check in jobs on the weekend, but more complex repairs and services are primarily done on weekdays. If it's an emergency or you want to plan ahead to ensure your bike is ready on a certain day or time, please call us at (530) 758-5460 and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Q: What's the difference between an internet or department store bike, and one from a bicycle store?

A: The vast majority of bikes the come from big box stores and internet sources are of very poor quality and construction. They are often heavy, they don't fit your body well or ride very nicely, and many are incompatible with accessories like fenders and rear racks. Worse, they really weren't meant for daily use, and most start having issues shortly after purchase.

Bikes from a bike store are chosen because of their high quality, versatility, and smart design. A good bike will run well for a long time, needing few repairs, which saves you time and money. They are compatible with most commonly added accessories, and we will even install them for you. Best of all, each bike is assembled here by a trained mechanic, and checked twice before it leaves the store. We will help you find the size that works best for you, answer your questions, include 3 months of free tuning and adjustments, and all of the bikes we carry come with the industry's best warranty. Isn't your riding experience worth it?
